    Jackie is a life-long gamer whose work background includes Star Wars: Commander and Words With Friends. She started Squid Games to bring more delight and innovation to casual players. Her hobbies include reading all the time and the Sisyphean effort of trying to work through her queue of games-to-play.

  • Jeff Wood

    CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER

    Jeff has been building games for almost 20 years. Starting in QA, moving up through design, and finally landing in engineering he enjoys shipping games and empowering his team to build great things. These days his hobbies include shooting his friends online, and trying to fix his pesky slice.

  • Tom Ebner

    ART DIRECTOR

    Tom has created art for multiple game companies over the last 20 years, (Jam City, Light Storm, Nickelodeon, Axis and Disney to name a few). Tom hopes to bring the best quality work possible to whatever project he's working on. Tom's hobbies include fan art, fossil hunting, watching horror movies, and cooking!

    SENIOR CONCEPT ARTIST

    Always looking for fun, Erica is an avid consumer of media with experience working in both games and animation. Her passion lies in helping create inspiring narratives and engaging, fantastic worlds. She enjoys collecting plushies, drinking hot cocoa, and singing karaoke.

  • Laura Berman

    SENIOR GAME DESIGNER

    Laura comes to Squid Games with 8 years of industry experience on top-grossing mobile strategy games, and a dual passion for storytelling and spreadsheets. Her hobbies include live-action roleplay, tabletop gaming, and collecting materials for craft projects she never completes.

  • Brandon Suzuki

    NARRATIVE DESIGNER

    Brandon has a background in poetry, literature, and TTRPG narrative design. He fills his free time as a Game Master for his 4th D&D campaign, while steadily working through his endless backlog of games, books, anime, and TV shows. He is best known for his controversial opinion that peanut butter and chocolate is an overrated flavor combination.

    UI/UX Designer

    Sally has been working in the mobile game industry for about 7 years. Combining her love to draw and to problem-solve, and her curiosity about human behavior, she focuses on creating honest, immersive, satisfying, and fun user experience as well as clear and concise interface. During her free time, she enjoys playing music with friends, inventing weird recipes, and snuggling with her cat.

    SENIOR ARTIST

    Lucy is an illustrator who has worked in both mobile and PC. She has a passion for working on lighthearted narrative-driven projects, and she loves creating and consuming media that is funny, cute, friendly, and colorful. Her hobbies include plein air painting, reading, collecting shiny reflective rocks to admire under the sun, and trying very hard to herd friends into karaoke night planning.

  • Caroline Cevallos

    LEAD ENGINEER

    Caroline has been building games professionally for over 5 years, and for fun since she was a kid. She comes from Zynga having worked on several titles including Hit it Rich, Puzzlescapes, and Merge Dragons. Her hobbies include crocheting, speed running games, singing karaoke, and convincing people that Cats (2019) is a good movie.

  • Ivan Mattos

    SENIOR 2D ANIMATOR

    With over 10 years in the mobile gaming sphere, Ivan finds himself at the new frontier of cozy platform puzzlers. His life long love for video game animation has brought him where charismatic, charming, or whimsical characters are championed. Hobbies include daydreaming, playing video/board games, and a newly found homespun life full of cooking and cats.

  • June Rodriguez

    MARKETING SPECIALIST

    June is a Marketing Specialist with a focus on integrity-based organic growth. Her background is in community management for indie games, and her strength is using authenticity to connect with players. She has a passion for arts and crafts and spends her free time skating, sewing and doing paranormal investigations with her friends!

    Favorite Games: Silent Hill 4, Katamari Damacy, DDR, Legend of Zelda: Majora’s, Mask and Kingdom Hearts

    SENIOR CONCEPT & 2D ARTIST

    Dave has been creating art for video games since 2007. He has worked for a variety of companies and clients both big and small. When not at work he can be found engaged in one of his many hobbies, pixel art, programming, tabletop gaming, artifact collecting and reading.

    Favorite Games: Maniac Mansion: Day of the Tentacle, The Legend of Zelda, and Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2

  • Jim Gray


    Jim has been programming games since the year 2000. Highlights of his career include programming the "Hover Tank" for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, programming the Darth Vader AI on the VR arcade game: Lightsaber Dojo, and playing trombone on the Special Edition of the Secret of Monkey Island.


    In his spare time, Jim plays guitar in a rock band with his college buddies.

  • David Yee


    David is a game industry veteran with a 20+ year career shipping critically and commercially successful franchises in traditional console and social mobile gaming. Hit franchises include The Lord of the Rings, Dead Space, FarmVille, and Words With Friends.

    Fun Fact: Learned to swim in 2012 with the goal to complete first triathlon. Five triathlons later, finished Escape from Alcatraz in 2015. And racing yet again in Escape in 2022.

  • Eu-Ming Lee


    Ming got his start in the games industry in the previous millennium, and has been honing mad skills ever since. He implemented special effects and AI onto the infamously unreleased Primal Rage 2 game for Atari Games. He has loved games since becoming enthralled with 80’s classic arcade games as a kid. He is an avid board game player as well. Ming has an incredibly diverse set of engineering skills, having created several 3D engines by himself, started a company, attained exit events at a couple of startups, and worked on numerous contract gigs for video game companies and projects of all varieties.
